    Adieu Rob

  5. I count myself lucky to be in attendance at Victoria Film Festival when Rob attended for an Intro and Q&A for Revolution. That’s one of my most memorable festival memories. His voice and presence are already missed. Rob’s love for the ocean, animals, people, and the world came through in his films and his enthusiastic Q&A session. It’s up to us to carry the torch. Warm thoughts and prayers to his friends and family members.

Rob Stewart ♡

  8. I watched the movie “Sharkwater” 2 years ago, because I was a huge fan of sharks for my whole life. What I saw in that movie the first time, it was not what I expected and it brought me to tears. I remember that I stood up the next morning, thinking “what the hell!? I have to do something and stop my stupid, simple lifestyle!”…
Rob Stewart was an inspiration, his work was so important! Everyone and every organisation donates for sweet and fluffy animals, but who cares about the animals that most people are afraid of (sharks, reptiles…)!? Rob Stewart did and created something fantastic.
When I read on facebook that he was missing and then a few days later on the news in TV (even here in Germany!) that he died, I couldn’t believe it. So unfair that such impressive and good people have to go so early. Too early. It’s on us and his supporters to keep his work alive and to continue saving these amazing and important animals and the oceans.
My thoughts are with his family and friends, I hope you all get through these times.
